A loft intended as an atelier is transformed into a residence, complete with a kitchen and amenities. The circulation path and the alternating-tread staircase within the double-height volume minimize the footprint while simultaneously articulating the space.
The relationships between the parts of the living envelope are thus multiplied: the additive technique used between them establishes a seamless tension with the courtyard in front.
