The competition brief calls for the design of a path connecting the Grushin train station to the performance stage.
The solution is a bold landscape intervention that structures and defines the area, drawing inspiration from the site's natural topography.
Two linear paths originate from the station canopy and extend to the valley floor. These paths define and frame all project elements, creating spaces and resting points along the descent. The first path leads to the museum, which culminates in an auditorium and an observation tower, continuing as a staircase that reaches the existing guitar-shaped stage floating on Lake Golovni. Alongside this dynamic, processional experience, there is a more intimate dimension featuring less constrained spaces that offer moments of pause: the hortus conclusus, a lawn opening up beside the museum, three terraces near the tower, and seating areas between the two staircases.
