The design for the monument to the Fallen of the Resistance eschews a figurative representation of memory in favor of an accessible field, composed of a multitude of reinforced concrete blades arranged at varying orientations and inclinations. The repetition of the element creates an apparently irregular structure, in which each part maintains its own autonomy while simultaneously contributing to the construction of a collective figure. The blades emerge from the ground like abstract presences, continuously altering the perception of space through overlaps, openings, and variations in density. The observer's movement becomes part of the monument: viewpoints, distances, and relationships shift while walking through it, while light and shadow transform its configuration throughout the day. Memory is thus entrusted not to a finished object, but to a landscape of fragments, capable of evoking the individual and collective dimension of the Resistance through its own instability.
